Shunosaurus figurine by CollectA
The Shunosaurus is a sauropod lived about 159 million years ago in the Middle Jurassic period. Shunosaurus was discovered in 1977 by a group of students, practising paleontological excavation at a road bank.
The Shunosaurus had a long neck that indicates it was a low browser. The shape of it's jaws is well-adapted to processing large amounts of coarse plant material.
