A friend and customer asked me to help design a play dough kit for her. She wanted a versatile and natural kit that would mesh with her nature inspired family day care service. So I looked through my supplies and designed this set for her. The dough is left natural so that the natural botanicals are the hero of the play dough kit. But if you'd like to add some colour to your dough, simply add some drops of colour and mix.
Children will be inspired by our natural loose parts and scented botanicals. Our hand curated loose parts are versatile and can be used with the dough in a multitude of creative ways. Explore the seed pods and see what patterns they leave upon the dough, or use them in transient art. You can use the dough with the lose parts to represent animals, people or fantasy characters.
Our play dough kits support children's learning through play using their interests as a vehicle for learning. Interest based learning encourages children to engage in sustained play, developing their concentration spans, their fine motor skills, their story telling and literacy development.
